A Saturday Drive

last saturday, the hubby and i took a little drive to lake murray in oklahoma. it was a very beautiful fall day. i enjoy weekend drives and we hadn't been on any in a while so it was a great getaway. so often we don't take the time to just look around and see the beauty that surrounds us. i think i could sit by a babbling brook and just listen to the quiet sounds of nature or maybe rustle through some leaves for a whole day. sometimes the best things in life are pretty simple and don't cost us a thing........
