This summer ends on a very happy note. I have new floors. They are beautiful and amazing. About 4 years ago I very ambitiously ripped up the carpet in my dining room and den. My hubby removed the flooring from the entry way and I worked and slaved and worked some more on preparing the floors for concrete stain. I really liked the way they looked but unfortunately they didn't last as long I had hoped. Sooooo I was past due for new flooring.

We chose a wood laminate for the main living areas, the hallway and master bedroom.
We carpeted the other 2 bedrooms.
looks like this bedspread needs to be replaced with the new carpet!!!
I am very pleased with the end result. It took a while getting everything ready for the installation which was very tiring, but I wouldn't change anything.
