since i started my blog, i've linked to many other blogs that i find fascinating and in some cases incredible. incredible, because of the challenges they face each day and the lives they have lived. i wanted to pass a couple on to you.
the first is about Randy Pausch
i have followed randy's story since i first heard him doing "The Last Lecture" on oprah. he lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on July 25th.
this is a blog i just happened to come across from a friend's blog. beware, it's hard to read and i've cried many times as i have read angie's story. it's about a young mom's life and and handling a child's death. her writing is amazing though and i have drawn strength and wisdom from her words. it's also where i first heard the song, all that i can say, by the david crowder band.

dearest daughter
Sarah is a Red Raider, but her brother is an OSU Cowpoke.

i don't know if sarah's nana taught her to make snow angels or not, but that was one of my niece's favorite memories of my mom.

my daughter, sarah, is a senior nursing student at Texas Tech. she began nursing school in july 07 and has been in school pretty much full time since then. her 2nd summer session ends in a week and she will be home for a few days. YAY!!! i know she will enjoy some time away from school and work. she recently started a job in pediatrics at covenant and is really enjoying it. between work and school, she's a very busy girl. she seems to have a good balance of work, school, and play. i'm a pretty proud momma!! she has some great friends there and she's a big sports fan. she loves her red raiders.
