SEW MAMA SEW--May Giveaway Day

Sew Mama Sew is hosting a really fun event called May Giveaway Day. I am excited to be a part of this for the first time. What a fun way to find other crafting bloggers!! Although my blog is not just devoted to crafts, I have my hands and money into too many crafts. If I can't make it myself, you might find me shopping at craft fairs and etsy. I have recently started sewing again (with my brand new sewing machine!!!) and I absolutely love making baby items. Some of the easiest items to make are burp cloths. I make them out of pre-folded diapers and I also make them from charm packs with a coordinating fabric on the back.

Posted by Picasa

I will choose the winner of the three burp cloths randomly from those entries that complete this sentence:

I think babies are......

Entries must be received by midnight on May 20th. Winner will be chosen by random number generator on May 21st and I will ship internationally. Please leave a comment even if you don't have a baby. You could always use it as a gift, donate it to a church nursery, or a women's shelter. My husband suggests you could dry a wet dog with them. :) He's a funny guy, but I don't know if he appreciates my sewing so much!!

I think babies are precious! Mom taught me to say that...it's true even for the ugly ones lol! She had a 'situation' when she was a first time mother and met another mother/baby while out for a walk. She said it was the ugliest baby she had ever seen and she didn't know what to say...then she came up with that and felt righteously correct and guilt free...all babies are truely a precious gift from God.
